Our item file is a mess. Can that be cleaned up first?
That is usually exactly the first step, and it is skipped far too often. We map the structure before anything is chosen or built. Migrating to a new system with a disordered item file only moves the problem.
We sell through several channels. Does that all have to be one system?
Not necessarily. One truth about stock and items is required; one system for everything is not. A strong ERP with focused integrations often works better than a package that promises everything.
Can you do something without replacing our ERP?
Almost always. Most of the gain sits in the exceptions around the package, not in the package itself. That is also cheaper and much faster to prove: within 48 hours you have a working prototype.
